Had dinner at Planet Hollywood last night with a bunch of friends and we had a great time. The restaurant was really buzzing with Xmas and birthday parties but we still got flawless service, very attentive and smiley. And food was good too! Thanks Planet for a great night!!!

Visited with my wife and daughter to celebrate my wife's birthday. Restaurant is airy and modern. Music was far too noisy for any conversation. Screens very naff.

Mixed reaction on food - my burger was burned black on 1 side which they tried to hide by flipping it over. It was inedible. The other 2 meals faired slightly better and were just edible. All french fries were on the cold side. The sweet was good. For a meal costing £25 per head extremely poor quality - not even to the standard of a truckers road side cafe!

Went to Planet Hollywood few nights ago for a friend's birthday bash and we had a great time.
Our waitress was great fun and so attentive. We all loved the food and cocktails, it was all really tasty. And I loved the way we were filmed on the TV's, birthday boy was sooo embarrassed, but in a good way.
I would definitely recommend Planet Hollywood if you are going out to celebrate, great place for it!!

Very dissapointed with a recent lunch time visit to planet Hollywood. We took our boys of 3 and 5, and were expecting something special. Unfotunately it cost us £80 for terrible food and not much atmosphere, we would have been better off going to pizza express. Our boys had essentially a toasted sandwich, and burger and chips. Both were dry and tasteless, although the chips were nice. I had the chicken fajitas which appeared to be heated up chicken along with microwave rice. My husband had the ribs which were ok. Their only savng grace was the lovely waitress and the milkshakes. (The toilets were't great either).

Congratulations Planet Hollywood! I didn't know what to expect and thought that as we were going to be in Leicester Square to meet friends and family before Christmas, we needed a venue that could accommodate and cater for all ages, we were recommended Planet. Well, no need to have worried, these guys were so professional, yet easy going and genuinely friendly. Great staff and the food was good too, I can so recommend Planet if you're out for something not too serious yet good value and loads of fun. My one bit of advice though, make sure you reserve in advance - these guys are normally rammed and you can see why. Well done again. Acl

“excellent service”this was our first visit. We appreciated the 'no booking' system on a saturday as it meant we could make a last minute decision to go there. We were told there would not be a table for about an hour and were told to listen for our name to be called out, which meant we didn't have to stand in a queue. After 30 minutes we were seated at a table in the British room thankfully because the level of noise in the main floor of the restaurant was a bit too high for conversation. The waiters (thom in particular) were excellent, attentive, friendly, helpful and we weren't rushed even though there seems to be a permanent queue to get in. We had nachos and fajitas which were good, no room for pudding, although they sounded delicious. A memorable evening.

I went yesterday and I have to say I am not sure what the complaint below is all about, i found it to be nothing more than what it says on the tin. quality food served by polite staff with a nice atmosphere. Yes we werent in there for that long but why would anyone choose Planet Hollywood to take a long boozy dinner - if I wanted that I would go to an appropriate restaurant. For me, growing up with this place as part of my life its all about the experience!

In reply to Balderdash - My wife and I took the children along last week and they had a great time, clearly the venue is aimed at fun, kids and groups but there were workers in aswell and everyone was having fun.

Its average priced, and keeps the children entertained which in itself gets the 5 stars just for taking them off my hands

They were playing clips from the west end shows which was brilliant for us as it got us excited for our trip to the theatre after dinner.

Family loved the place

My girlfriend forced me to go along for her best friends birthday and although I thought it would be cheap and cheezy I had a really good time. Good steak :-)
