This pub had a refurb in May and the decor and staff are lovely and attentive. However, eat there in an allocated 1 hour work lunch break and you can forget it. Food great but a group of us have given it a few chances now and had to get a refund. It takes forever to get your food and when you do you you have 5 minutes to get it down.
Come on guys, get it sorted. Don't bother with the feedback tool on the website either as they simply cant be bothered to honour you with a response.
The welsh rarebit is a rip off - 1 slice of whats basically posh cheese on toast lets face it, for £4.50. Sorry but pardon me for expecting a couple of slices since it's on the sandwich menu. Oh and £1 extra for a piddly bowl of leaves.
Fine for a drink but don't bother eating there in your lunch break as it's far too stressful and hurried.
Although it was cheap and cheerful before the refurb, the service was much better.

An awesome big screen at the Prince of Wales Feathers, lots of rubgy type guys, but who cares if they're cute!! If you go to the Prince of Wales Feathers on a Wednesday they have cheap drinks - mind you the drinks are pretty reasonable anyway.
