I have been here on several occasions for lunch, and well worth the trip from Hampstead. Great food and the wine is extraordinary.
Pub renovation is fantastic, food limited but excellent and was seen as a welcome addition to the area. However, the first few friendly weeks quickly changed as the number of customers increased. Appears that they are looking for profit now reather than long term loyal clientel.
Arrived quite early on a Sunday evening when it was still a little quiet but glad we did as within an hour the dining room was packed. A classic menu with twists & plenty of lighter options too. The food really was superb - literally every dish selected by our party was fantastic, if a little pricey for gastro pub grub, but well worth it for a treat. Staff were great & efficient & friendly & the wine list was massive! Will definitely be returning very soon! Only point was I wish they had a little music...
Went and had a drink here a couple of weeks ago ... more to have a nosey at the renovations than anythings else ... and the interior blew me away - WOW. Just as impressive as the exterior. They have done a magnificent job. I was so impressed i came back to sample the food in the evening and was truly impressed. I live in the area and i now have a new local. First class. Jason.
At last some glamour comes to Uxbridge Road. The Princess Victoria is now a gorgeous gastropub, with great food, wine and atmosphere. Give it a try!
Princess Victoria has the makeover of all makeovers and is looking fantastic. Superb wine list (ex sommelier has seen to that) and some great food coming out of the kitchen. Looking forward to the outdoor seating and patio - and the Saturday market. So excited, just what W12 needed! Thanks and well done to the guys at PV.
Princess Victoria has finally come back to life...with an amazing refurb and new owners.
The interior now looks like an elegant Victorian pub ...with an amazing dining room.
We tried the food..and the chef sure can cook.! The wine list is really good too, and you can even buy the bottles you like in their wine shop.
Well done guys...Shepherds Bush really needs this.
