Loved every minute spent there. Was a student in January 1975. Spent the month in England touring with a teacher. He told us of the Queens Arms and said it was his favourite spot.

Met some wonderful people there and felt right at home, thanks to the friendliness and hospitality of all the staff and patrons. Especially would like to enquire about the whereabouts of two of the regular customers.

They were with the Antique Car division of British Leyland Motors, there in the Mews. Their names were John Leyland and Ken Wall. They became very dear friends to my room-mate Mindy and I and wanted to find out how they are.

If anyone can give me this information and or pass this message and my address on to either of them, I would be oh so appreciative! Thank you and I hope someday to return to your lovely city and visit the Queens again.

Hidden in a mews behind the Royal Albert Hall, the Queens Arms is a small pub with a great atmosphere. The good real ale is a bonus, as is the quality of the food, although it does seem to be a bit pricey when compared to other pubs in the area. Enjoy the food and drink as you contemplate which car from the garage across the way you wish you could afford!
