Queens Head is one of the better pubs in Holborn and also one of the cheapest (around £1.90 for Carlsberg and £2.00 - £2.15 for Carling / Fosters) which is cheaper than the nearest Wetherspoons.

Queens Head serves good food but prepare for a wait on a Friday lunchtime.

The Queens Head now has a canopy with heaters outside. Shame it's so noisy outside, though!

The Queens Head was a lovely place to play billiards with a glass of bitter. Friendly staff and a diverse clientele give this place some character. Clean place that mixes chain pub atmosphere with laid back ambiance. After three months residing in London, this pub was by far the one I frequented most.
