The Queens Head looks like hell outside and doesn't look all that good inside either. That's part of the charm of the Queens Head. It's run by people who care little for appearance but a lot for content. The beer range is good and substantial without having to resort to the wilder fringes of (say) Belgian beers. The Queens Head will however embarrass those whose idea of a pub lunch involves hamburgers or crisps.
