Last year the food here was absolutely great. Dropped by a few weeks ago and was quite disappointed. The pork belly was tasteless. The cheese platter lacked variety and was simply not as good as it should have been. I've had better cheese platters at Queensbury before. I hope the management takes steps to bring the quality up to where it has been before.

Do not go there if you want to have a fun evening.

To start things off, the manager is a complete a-hole. Treats everyone rudely and when the clock strikes midnight, he starts screaming at everyone to finish their drinks -- not asking, actually screaming. Countdown screaming sometimes. I have seen this happen more than once. People do not feel welcome there, neither do employees from what I have heard.

The drinks are overpriced, you can find better food across the street at Chicken Cottage. Not even joking.

Props to their wallpaper, but that's about it. They forget that customers make or break a venue, and I don't see them existing for much longer if they continue this way.

There are a number of variations to the margarita but there are three basic ways you can serve this cocktail: neat, on the rocks or frozen. Apparently at Queensbury no one knows about it, and if you ask for a neat Margarita you get the frozen one.

If you ask for a neat Margarita the (rude) answer you get is:”you can not have a Margarita with out the frozen ice, because that is the way it’s done”. And believe me, I have this conversation every time I visit the pub

So if someone of Queensbury is reading this review .. this is the recipe for a NEAT Margarita, it’s not rocket science, and it’s quicker to prepare because you do not need to crush the ice.

Ingredients:
•1 1/2 oz tequila
•1/2 oz triple sec
•dash of lemon or lime juice
•3 oz sour mix
•lime wedge for garnish
•salt or sugar to rim the glass (optional)
Preparation:
1.Pour the ingredients into a cocktails shaker with ice cubes.
2.Shake well
3.If desired, salt the rim of a chilled margarita glass
4.Pour contents, with ice, into the glass.
5.Garnish with the lime wedge.

Food is always nice, the caramelised onion and goat cheese tart is delicious but - trust me - very small, I could easily eat 2 of them and still be hungry.

The pub deserves more than 2 stars but they are rude!

This pub is my local and I've eaten here quite a few times in the past, but have always been disappointed. Things like almost raw fatty roast beef when you've invited friends can do that. Recently this pub has had a bit of a face lift, so for lunch recently I gave it a second chance and ordered from the special summer menu. I ordered whitebait, but the meal was nothing more than an over priced snack. Literally the serving consisted of less than ten whitebaits, this being the first time I have thought it necessary to count whitebait. The garnish consisted of approximately 4 leaves of salad and a bit of tartare sauce. I think I paid about seven pounds for that. Presumably this pub will soon introduce a winter warmer menu designed to comfort and nourish. I can imagine the soup, an elegantly, lightly flavoured soup, presented in a warm but not hot fashion, with a gesture of crouton embellishment. Served in a shot glass, with a sprig of parsley from sainsbury's. Honestly, this place is a text book example of over-priced, not that nice - but not that bad - and meagre. I recommend giving it a wide berth until they stop trying to rob people. There are lots of nice alternatives in Willesden Green.

visited the Queensbury randomly One Friday Night, i was doing some short stay work within the cricklewood area, and was Unimpressed in the surrounding bars and pubs, took a short walk down and ended up a willesden green tube station, where i spotted the Queensbury, at first i wasn't Sure but decided to go and grab a drink anyway because after a full week i just wanted to unwind, the inside is very well decorated with A nice friendly Crowd who the pub seemed to have attracted, and they fitted with the Mood perfectly, the bar staff seemed Busy and i was served Quite Quickly considering How busy It was.

After A few drinks i decided to be seated in the restaurant,seemed strange as i was on my Own, the menu was full of Very Different varieties but with a strong British Feel, i ended up ordering lamb shanks which i must say were to die for, all in all a Great night met some great people, its a shame because i don't live in the area, but if i ever do visit north west London i would defiantly visit the Queensbury again

i went to The Queensbury last Sunday and had a amazing time and raved about it and for the first time wrote a review, this Sunday i returned with 3 friends who i had coaxed into coming, i was disappointed the roast was better than last week something i thought not possible here comes the but, the plates were cold we all sent it back and the serving staff were unhelpful and bordering on rude we did receive 3 strudlels as compensation which were fantastic will be returning next Sunday to see if the Queensbury can crack it, will let you know

I visted the Queensbury on Sunday with friends i had the roast which was fantastic at £11.50 the decor is warm an welcoming and they have blankets and heaters outside which is great for smokers however the highlight of this place has to be the food see you there net sunday .....

I went to The Queensbury for Sunday lunch on a recommendation of a regular who raved about the Sunday lunch we arrived and were sat in a nice dining area with a good atmosphere not to formal ordered and the french onion soup it was rich with a delicious cheese top it was superb and then the main event the rare breed beef cooked rare but they did a well done for the wife when asked big portions hot and fresh tasting if i had to gripe the guy in the restaurant was running around whilst bar staff stood around chatting all in all a pleasurable experience to repeated as soon as possible
