i had a great experience here, waitresses were lovely catered for my every needs, even though i know i was bit difficult at times. sunday roasts were devine. i plan to go back most sundays. plenty of thinks for the kids to do with the numerous board games to play and allowed us to play pool.

I had a horrible experience eating at the recreation ground. My only recommendation would be never to eat there!!

Staff were really unwelcoming on arrival. Difficult to order food. Starters of bread and olives were stale and dry. When our meat mains finally arrived after an hour wait they were cold and very unappetizing (looked like a frozen iceland meal). When we brought the problem to the attention of the staff, she was very unresponsive and unapologetic. Her solution seemed to be an awkward silence, until we felt so uncomfortable, so suggested maybe heating it up, she shrugged. After a further long wait, we decided that a roast dinner at weatherspoons would be of a better standard than this rubbish, so we left unfulfilled.
