Booked an area for a birthday, nice enough bar but despite the place not being busy, the service was painfully slow. Staff had no idea what they were doing, no idea what the discounts were and unwilling to check. Drinks are most definitely watered down, especially in teapots and pitchers so we felt a bit ripped off. Wouldn't make any effort to go back, however we have enjoyed other revolution bars so the brand itself is decent enough.

There are plenty of great cocktail bars in london so if youre happy to pay £8 a cocktail or £4 a pint then I'd advise people to go elsewhere.

I went on Saturday for my 23rd birthday. The Lady called Katie who arranged my booking was really friendly made sure we were ok and happy. There was 12 of us and we all had a great night. Lovely cocktails and the vodka shots are amazing! I had the best birthday!

Went on a Friday night. Good security system at entrance. Quite busy inside. Nice music, rnb, hip hop, dancehall, etc. First floor felt like a party house, slightly small, dark, but not hot nor stinky. 6£ entrance (don't know if it was exceptionally for girls), 2£ cloakroom per item. Enjoyed myself very much =) would go again.

My friend booked her 21st b'day for a party of 30+ there were only two members of staff behind the bar taking orders for drink whilst no one was available to take orders for food. They failed to communicate with staff to inform them that there was booking we were that they would decorate the area and this was not done. Only after i complained to a member of staff who was not on shift at the time did the manager appear, he was know where to be seen prior to that. We ordered food and waited over 1 hour 30 min for our food to arrive. I didn't enjoy my experience and will not be returning neither will any of the other guests. The cocktails were watered down they tasted like sun pride tropical juice with diluted with water. I regret visiting i would have been better off going to Sun Sun across the road.

Staff were great, polite and friendly. To be fair they deserve double their wage for putting up with the punters of Revolution Bar Clapham. The real low end of the market, but having said that any venue which has a reserved area policy is a must avoid. What's the point of having reserved area and separting yourselfs from the rest of the public. Oh look at us we have seats and you don't! Lol. What a joke. Revolution Bar Clapham, seems to be the place where everyone who couldn't get into the other bars end up and certainly well worth to avoid. Unless your a tourist who wants to learn more about British chav culture. Maybe I being a bit harsh.(thinks). No please avoid.

Me and my friends have been to a number of Revolution Bars around the country and this is by far the worst!!

On our last (and only) visit we were disappointed with the state of the place. There was broken glass on the floor, empty glasses everywhere and it seemed there was a severe lack of staff (for a busy saturday night). It took us over 15 minutes to get served and when we finally did get served the quality of the drinks were not to the high standard we would expect from Revolutions. The drinks seemed "watered" down (considering they are served as doubles) and my friend was sure there wasn't even any alcohol in his drink. When a member of staff was asked by my friend, he just shrugged and said "not my problem". We noticed one member of staff not even putting any alcohol into a cocktail!! Surely this is illegal!

So any advice to people wishing to come here, don't go! Go to Clapham Junction (about 15 minutes) away. The staff there are fun, friendly, smily and you get what you pay for!

This a review Revolution Bar in Clapham Junction, which is from the same chain.

Me and a friend (2 guys) bought tickets for the NYE and headed mistakenly to Revolution Clapham North. The doormen there were let's say not unfriendly, but just business like. It left me wondering whether we'd actually get in, because they were saying it was couples only! And there was only a small queue!

When we realised we were at the wrong venue we headed to Clapham Junction. Once there, the more friendly doormen informed us that we could get a free glass of champagne. We said hi to our (female) friends and headed to the bar for the champagne. They refused to give us champagne because (more to the point) they wanted to drink it themselves and sell the remainder later. But we didn't go there for the free champagne it just annoyed me that they promised something and didn't deliver.

So I was totally sober at midnight and had to put up with some jumping the queue to the bar. The atmosphere and the crowd is just unfriendly and cliques everywhere. Revolution bar and its usual crowd just sucks. I felt sorry for them.

Revolution bar in Clapham was a new place for me and 15 others to enjoy a birthday party which was going fine until one of the bouncers removed one of our party for no reason whatsoever. This person was not causing any disturbance of any kind.

We had the support of the rest of our party and we all left the venue never to return again or to recommend it.

There was no explanation given although one of our party was told that it was due to the person 'dancing vigorously' which is a gross exaggeration.

We go to Clapham and elsewhere in South London every weekend, some times twice a weekend we have never had problems of this nature and we will never be venturing here again.

have been going to the one in clapham high street since early 2008 and still enjoy it there.

my husband and i both think and agree it's good value for money there especially with the privilege card.

the cocktails are really yummy and the food, the food are absolutely good standard and very tasty. you ask for steak, rare to medium, that is exactly what you get!!!

check it out for yourselves!!! bar staff friendly and attentive, compared to some bars in the high street, for sure.

Revolution is a fantastic bar which is made all the more amazing, depending on the company you have at the time. Unfortunately last Saturday it did attract some weirdos like a bald headed man who insisted on shouting, Get a room at myself and my fella. It was very apparent that he wasn't going to get a room with the two blonde girls he was trying to shark.

The drinks are fab, go for one of the cocktail pitchers and don't look back. Revolution rocks - go try it!

Went to Revolution for a friends birthday. The place was very busy but staff and doormen were very friendly and helpful. Revolution has a wicked DJ. Try to get in early. £3.00 entry after 9pm when the bar gets very busy and there is a long queue.

Revolution is an absolute shocker. The staff are rude, the bouncers act like they are guarding Fort Knox and make you line up when there obviously noone inside (glass windows mean you can see when there's nobody in there). Once in Revolution you are faced with the majority of the crowd being uptight, arrogant and blatantly rude.
I strongly recomend that you head somewhere else.

Revolution has the most amazing vodkas, especially the flavoured ones. This place is just unbelievable if you love vodka.

This bar has an appallingly bad attitude towards its clientele and should be avoided.
They let a massive queue form in the freezing cold from 8.30 just so they could keep you out until 9pm whereupon £3 admission was payable.

Once (eventually) inside, you can expect excessive, bar queues, rude and incompetent staff. There are better bars in the area.

I was very disappointed with this establishment having booked to have a reunion there. The bouncers are extremely rude and very bad for business.

Absolutely RUBBISH. I was extremely disappointed with the staff's incompetence. They were extremely rude as I had booked with them 1.5mths in advance yet they still screwed me up. As there were a large group of us, they would've received better reviews had they looked after their clients.
