Booked a table on the terrace for 6 pm - wasn't ready when we arrived. Waited and waited and eventually gave up as food didn't appear - shame as setting was excellent and what other people were getting looked good. I understand that food is cooked to order and had allowed time for this but staff were not re-assuring and we left - hungry and disappointed

One of the best things about this bar is that it has a terrace right on the river, but this is hidden from view from the street. This means that passing trade tends to go to the other pubs on sunny days (and their riverside gardens get very crowded, standing room only) whereas the sun/river terrace here has seating available.
The drinks are pleasant and well-kept, the food is also tasty.
I would definitely recommend this place for summer drinks, whether or not you take in a film or show.

The Riverside Cafe Bar has good food and very pleasant surroudings. We had a nice lunch and the staff were chatty and helpful. I like the Riverside Cafe Bar immensely and we will be back.

Riverside Cafe Bar is very friendly and has great staff. The views are fab and it's has been like a home from home over the summer. I would like the Riverside Cafe Bar even more if it were closer to my house!
