I'm a regular at Roadtrip and love this place. Great diner style food, even for us veggies! Staff are cheery, good fun and on the ball. Always good tunes being played from the Juke or DJs. Open til 5am at weekends...ok a fiver after 11pm but well worth it!
Fun place and open late! Not as pretentious as the rest of Shoreditch. Nice crowd and great music. Not the cheapest drinks either.
I go to Roadtrip often and dont understand the bad reviews, the staff are usually great and the guy they have on the front door is one of the nicest bouncers I have ever come across! He even knows most of the regulars by first name! It does get busy on the weekends but where doesnt thats decent in Shoreditch and the wait at the bar is usually not bad. And they're open until 5am and dont charge to get in! I will continue to go and would recommend other to too!
What a dump! The food suck. The bouncers of this dump are so rude. Will never go back there again.
An absolute dive very small and crowded can't even get to the bar, music is to loud to have a conversation, doesn't even have a cloak room. I got a very expensive coat and jumper stolen from there and the manager was very rude and unhelpful as where the staff. Would never return and recommend never to go there unless you like getting your possessions stolen.
Roadtrip Bar is the perfect spot to people watch on Old Street. Great sounds too from the Bar midweek.
Went to Roadtrip last night - great venue. Lightyears better than the old place there. Beefy patio heaters ward off any hit of impending autumn weather, and the inside is stylish but cosy and welcoming, with a live DJ doing his stuff. Bar staff are not pretentious and seem sound. Beer is not too pricey for the area, and the menu includes Red Stripe and other non-standard favourites as well as food. Location is convenient, 2 mins walk from Old Street Tube, and is an ideal place to start the night, with Great Eastern Street and Old Street bars close by. Spending the whole night there is quite possible though....
