A top class British Boozer with great food and a cracking laid back atmosphere. A large party of us couldnt have been made to fel any more welcome, looked after from start to finish by the landlord Will.
Cheers.. Andy

I went here for Sunday roast today and had a great meal.

The portions were generous, perfectly cooked vegetables, beautifully tender meat, great atmosphere and friendly staff.

I will be returning soon...

I can definitely concur with viewlondon's recommendation of the Sunday Roast at the Rose and Crown - it was marvelous! We ended up staying here well into Sunday evening because the atmosphere was so nice. And also because the Rose and Crown made us too drunk and full to leave!

The Rose and Crown does a gorgeous Sunday roast - definitely worth a visit if you are nearby and hungover! It's becoming a bit if a tradition for me and my friends to head down to The Rose and Crown to soak up all that booze from the Saturday night!
