I went to Scootercafe after reading a rave review about their hot chocolate (the Italian melted chocolate - not this watery English stuff). Nice intimate venue - would suit like a party of 2 - 4 maximum as it is small. I was disappointed to be told that they'd run out of the brown hot chocolate and only had white chocolate (which tasted suspiciously like custard). Nevertheless, I tried again 2 weeks later, and they still didn't have any of the chocolate I wanted. Either, I am very unlucky, or the hot chocolate is really popular or the managers better start rethinking their purchasing policy and get some more hot chocolate in. Oh, was told by a customer that you can also take your own sandwiches, as long as you buy their drinks they are ok with it

A very cool but random bar filled with scooters and cats (real ones!). Not a large bar but filled with small tables so makes for a nice place to have a few drinks with some friends. We had no problem getting a table late on a Friday night but it was busy enough not to feel dead.

TERRIBLE customer service!!“Waitress” did not even look up to give change while having private conversation with friend.

There was no thank-you and no good bye, despite being the only paying customers in the café !!!

Come on! -Its just the basics in human politeness.

I urge people to spend their money elsewhere, perhaps in a café that appreciates their customer.
