The Shaston is a fantastic pub. Primarily because it serves ale from the Badger Brewer which is one of this country's best breweries. The food is very good and not overpriced even though it is just off Carnaby Street. The staff are friendly and don't seem to have a high turnover which is always nice when you pop in and see a familar face. If you want a booth you need to be in the pub by 5.30 on a Friday.
The only downside is that it only serves food at lunchtime...however, given that Masala Zone is next door and in a short walk to Warwick Street you have a plethora of gastronomic delights, it is not really an issue!
