Shimo does excellent Japanese food as well as some well made drinks. If you get the chance I recommend a trip to Shimo.

I heard from a colleague Shimo, so a friend and I had dinner there just before Christmas. What a refreshing Japanese restaurant! The menu is very reasonably priced and the food is delicious. The set menus are great. The wine list is really good with something for everyone.

One of the most surprising things was the dessert menu. As I love my desserts I was delighted to be able to choose from some old time classics. The service was great - attentive but not too over the top. It was a lovely evening and I will definitely be back at Shimo.
