We hired Simmons for a private party in July and it couldn't have been better. Elliot and the team made everything perfect, with amazing cocktails and delicious toasties on tap all night long (until 3am!). The perfect venue for a party, as well as being a smashing place to go for a quick drink during weeknight happy hour.
We first went to this newish bar for a private party and loved it. Since been back on midweek and weekend nights, and also for lunch one Friday, and each time it's been consistently good. We're working our way thru the massive range of unusual beers (try the gooseberry and plum ones - really tasty). It's also one of the only places we know in Kings X where you can get a decent sit down meal after 10 o'clock. Top marks for the lovely decor and soft lighting and brilliant music. We're definitely fans of this great little venue and the funky basement bar.
I took a few friends here last weekend for a daytime pint and a cake - it went down really well with everyone, and we loved the atmosphere. It's a great place during the day for a chat and a cosy few relaxed beers, whilst at night the music and ambience are really great, especially for the start of a night out.
I was really impressed and will definitely be going again!
Four of us spent last Saturday night here - fantastic mix of music from the live DJ.
Great chilled atmosphere and everyone seemed to be having a whale of a time. Seemed fairly new venue as never been before but well worth another visit.
We were in Simmons a few Friday nights back, we loved it and we'll definitely be going back. DJ was great, loads of disco, funk etc, there was a real atmosphere. Oh and where else can you get a cupcake with your pint. Check it out, it's great.
