Haven’t gotten your hands on a pair of Six Nations tickets? Want to see the matches as they happen, as close to live as you can get? Various venues across the capital are screening the 2012 matches on the television, so make sure you watch the Six Nations at London pubs and bars – it’s almost as good as the real thing.

This year’s Six Nations
The RBS Six Nations is back again for 2012, which promises to be one of the most exciting years ever. Given the past performances from England in the recent Rugby World Cups, there is sure to be plenty of pressure on them to bring home the Six Nations trophy. With some old faces along with some brand new players that are sure to be future stars, the coaching team will be set to drive England onto a stunning victory. So be prepared for matches like you’ve never seen before.

Six Nations screenings
Missed out on tickets this time around? If you couldn’t get your hands on tickets for this year’s matches at Twickenham and can’t splurge the cash for tickets to the matches in other countries, don’t worry just yet. Plenty of places in London are screening the matches. For a day out with your mates, watching the Six Nations at London pubs and bars can’t be beaten.

Cheer on your team
While most people in London will be rooting for England to take home the trophy, there are plenty of places across the capital to root on all the teams. Whether you’re a Scotland fan or are planning to cheer on Wales, there’s a pub or a bar in London for you. And since rugby fans tend to be a friendly lot, if you stop by an English pub to cheer on an opposing team you’ll probably only come away with minor bruising.

Where to watch
Plenty of people will be watching the Six Nations at London pubs and bars, so get there early to get a good seat. Here’s a tip – if you want to beat the crowds when England is playing in London, head to the pubs and bars near Twickenham. Since everyone in the neighbourhood is usually in the stadium, most places tend to be empty while the match goes on. Just be prepared for everywhere to fill up as soon as the match is over.
