Bought a voucher for this on kgb, where it stated we could choose between a large variety of tapas dishes.. we were given breadsticks, olives and 3 slices of cold mouldy quiche. One thing that got me was that every single member of staff was rude, incompetent and seemed annoyed that we had bothered to show up. I wish we hadn't! So much potential with the views of London but full of complete half wits. No entertainment as stated and the furniture was the sort of stuff you find on gypsy camps.
purchased through a KGB deal, the expectation was high, walking into a silent and empty room with no entertainment features of any kind and the bar staff who clearly saw customers as an interruption to their conversation, I can say we were more than disappointed. The decor is plain with little thought or expense and no protection from the blinding sun through the ceiling high windows it was hard to see let alone enjoy this experience. The vouchers for drinks and tapas were (badly) written on playing cards and after requesting the tapas (which was brought out after a minute so clearly pre-prepared and left to stand) we saw a plate of breadsticks, olives, and dry quiche with cold pasta, which doesn't even qualify as appetisers, let alone 4 dishes of tapas (5 finger sized breadsticks....I rest my case)
The only enjoyable aspect of this deal is the laughable attempt of sophistication that this 'lounge' poorly attempts to convey, and the playing card drinks tickets, perhaps an attempt at stylish originality, but it seemed more like a cheap afterthought. The view is ok, but facing the opposite end of London than the city, huge waste of money is this mockery of skylounge, the only way I will come within 10 feet of this bar is by passing it after jumping out in a clear desperation to get away from the tacky self declared sophistication this claims to offer. Do not visit this place.
I went here on a groupon offer, and I have never been more disappointed. The ad stated Tapas and Cocktails at Sky Lounge with drinks roulette, entertainment and fantastic views. The "cocktails" were a small glass of champagne, there was no roulette, activites, dance floor or any form of entertainment. Our "tapas" consisted of nothing more than a bowl of olives. I have purchased quite a few tapas deals through groupon, and although they haven't all been amazing, there is nothin I could even begin to compare to the disappointment of this evening. The venue looked like a converted dorm room at best, and the service was a few coked out men who were more interested in flirting with their friends than in any kind of customer service. Worst £20 I have ever spent!
