Brilliant place. We went with a Groupon voucher and were impressed with the food and the terrifice caiprinha. Also the staff were lovely and friendly. To top it all, a talent guitarist performed in the lovely small venue.

As a Chalk Farm local, you wont find me 10 deep at a bar on a Friday night fighting to give my money to disinterested bar staff in heaving pubs. If your someone that use to end up at the Marathon at the end of the night (before it went legit) then you'll love the friendly welcome and relaxed atmosphere here. It's only 15 steps off Chalk Farm Road, but those steps make all the difference !

This place is well worth the time of day, especially later in the evening when other places are unbearable. Various DJ and bands too.

I do, on occasion, get tempted with a shot of Absynth from the top shelf, but mostly the excellent Capirinas will see you through till closing time.
