Do not go here if you only want one drink and a few nibbles!

It is such a shame as the pub is in a good location and the decor is quite nice. However, Myself and my clients went here for a quick drink after work mid week (the place was not full...plenty of tables). We ordered a round of drinks and some food (nacho's and chips etc for all)

We were in the pub for 1 hour and approached by the bar man asking if we would like more drinks. When we said no thankyou, we were promply asked to leave. On questioning why, the bar man became agitated and said he was not asking but telling us to leave as we were not going to buy anymore drinks!

I asked to speak to the manager (owner of the place) who confirmed that we should leave if we were not buying any more drinks! Not only being asked but the way we were asked was very dismissive and quite frankly childish

Well, it's a shame and quite outrageous the way we were spoken to - I will certainly not be taking my business (client meetings, social work drinks etc) there again.

How rude!
