Excellent restaurant. A really interesting menu, using unusual British ingredients to good effect, and a good selection of accompanying beers (rare for a top restaurant) and wines to wash the food down with. I'll definitely eat there again.

My colleagues have given St John good reviews and it has recently come in the top 50 world restaurants. So, with expectations high, we were thoroughly disappointed with the service and food we recieved.

St John really didn't live up to the reputation and was nothing better than average for the money. I eat better at my Mum's!

The St John gets really busy which is no wonder as it is really good. The bar is really smart and modern, the drinks are great and the wine list is extensive. The St John restaurant is lovely too - not only is there great food, there's knowledgeable staff. Overall St John does a lot to impress.

St. John is blissfully refreshing, a bold return to true food, a rebuke of fussy fusion menus, ideal for a person who likes their food as opposed to fancy surroundings and convoluted menus. Whitewashed walls, very fine wines/liquers, great service, perfect for the non-Conran fan!
