Went for NYE 2011. Was honestly one of the best nights I've ever had, The food was good, the entertainment with the meal was pretty cool too, all the staff dress up, im guessing for what ever theme it is that night. It was the 'end of the world' night and they had special cocktails and stuff going on throughout the venue. I have never been before but haven't stop raving about it. Now super keep to try the others out in Amsterdam and LA

Had an amazing birthday at Supperclub last saturday. We did not have dinner and just went for the club part. The staff at the bar were extremely friendly, the music was great, the venue and performances are funky. Will definitely go back and try the dinner!

Went to the one in Amsterdam in 2009. Didn't think the London one would be that good but actually I preferred it. Really enjoyed the acts, the food and the cocktails were great!
The host for the night, Paulie was awesome too.

The only good place in supperclub, is the music after 1am! Been there 2 times, and had to deal with a lovely (i think she's a manager.)girl at the door, who was giving table. She was doing her best to accomodate us. And when we get inside we understood why!. We go out in London west end, And honestly door staff are normally really rude. Well for the 2sec time she was again great. But wouldnt come back, unless late and really drunk.

Went for a friends birthday last Saturday and was blown away with the place. The food was good but there is no choice so you have to have what they offer, could be a real pain if you are a fussy eater. The service was a OK, nothing special. The show and music on the other hand was amazing. It really is an unique dining experience which you must try at least once. Look forward to returning with some friends to see their reaction.

I had a blast!

I was pretty sceptical (after reading a couple of reviews on here) when my wife booked us in at Supperclub for my birthday but my worries were left at the door. The venue it has to be said is stunning and the concept of the beds was both fun and different. Yes we waited a while for our cocktails to come but that was the only hitch in the whole evening. The food was fantastic (I like to thing myself quite the foodie) and the acts and performances that took place throughout the meal were great. I have been to most of the cabaret restaurants in the west end and this was a much better standard I must say.

Can t wait to return

Having been to the Supper Club a couple of times, anxiously waiting in the rather busy bar for the 'doors to open' and reveal the excitement beyond...I decided this time to be one of the envied 'bed dwellers' and try the whole experience.

and you know what...my girlfriends and I had a great time!
Joanna at the door was welcoming and friendly, the several waiting hosts were smiling and accommodating, the DJ's were so friendly and sharing the names of tunes with us...

the food was an 8/10 in concept and a 7/10 in execution...good enough and interesting enough that I would go back...

the show was rather a disappointment...the violinist was sexy and talented, the other two acts were rather underwhelming - especially as during my peaking through the closed door days, I had viewed VERY interesting things occurring with hot wax, half naked, oiled and buttered bodies...

and now for the best part...the music!!

it absolutely rocked it for me...on the 11th March, Russ Jay and Melvo Baptiste were playing awesome, deep and melodic house (with a bit of a hardcore edge that I love!) and we keep our bed oasis all night!!

on previously, pre-bed days, I loved Femi's tunes as well...

so all in all, I would absolutely spend the money for a bed experience with a group of great fun filled people (not grumpy, whingey types who complain about everything) and visit again...

I had a birthday meal here with a couple of my closest friends.
The overall experience was very unique. I have never been to a theatrical performance dinner containing the talented off beat, weird and wonderful, as I doubt many of you have.
From the moment we sat down got our first cocktail, to the moment we got our food - we enjoyed the show. It might not be to the taste of the average Joe, but there will be at least one performance that will be memorable for every person.

The food was delicious, I can't fault it and I LOVE picking things apart. The steak was cooked to perfection as were all the accompaniments, we enjoyed the main tremendously (one of my friends is a gourmet chef - Her food is to die for - She couldn't give the food here enough praise.) The desert - OMG, 5 courses in and I never usually make it to the 3rd course. I tried it and finished it, it was perfect blend of light, rich and delicious, just what you needed to end quite frankly a triumphant display of genius.

The club opens after dinner with the crème de la crème of dj’s playing non-stop, non-party hits.. Great music to get your dance on and get down with some gorgeous people all night. I got speaking to the guy in charge of the music and he’s definitely got it spot on.
Anyway go, give it a try, especially when you want a little something above the norm.

It seems that some of the reviews here have been written by the employees of this place because some of these comments are way off the mark & total bollocks..........Anybody that honestly believes that the Supper Club is such a wonderful experience must have been off their faces(Which the majority of the staff are!) to be able to tolerate such dire service & food.

No, I did'nt have a bad experience here....................Just telling it how it really is.

Better still, save your money up & go for a weekender in Amsterdam then go to the Supperclub there!

What an incredible experience i had last Friday! Dinner was delicious, staff is friendly and helpful, they don't only serve, they also interact with you, which is not typical for every club. The performers in Supper club are well deserved to be there and have indeed outstanding talents. The crowd is as if it were hand picked, everyone is Bold and Beautiful! :-)
When they say it is THE place you MUST visit, then it is what it is.

Special THANK YOU goes to Femi Fem! The only place where i can dance non stop is in Supper Club! Once i started going there a year ago, no one can stop me since. Me and my girlfriends had an unforgettable evening, just the kind we planned to have. Keep going in the same way guys! Gulmi

I saw loads of bad reviews about supperclub before going and was panicking my friends and I were going to have a rubbish time and I'd organized it! As soon as we arrived I could not see one reason why people had written such bad reviews until a chance encounter on the stairs made me realize it wasn't the place, it was the people! On the way up to the toilets from the bar, this woman who was following me started exclaiming "omg what a terrible design, the toilets are nowhere near the bar, how awful rubbish design what an awful design" . "what!?" I thought!? How many bars do you go to where that’s the case, it didn’t seem out of the ordinary to go up some steps to the toilets in a bar/club!? From that moment I realized that the people writing these reviews must be miserable and just out for a moan. The host was a wonderful young man who our group befriended (with a sexy swagger all girls will envy!). The performers were brilliant, we had a great giggle and just enjoyed. It didn’t matter what they did it was something different. A great relaxed vibe where you and friends can lie around on your beds, feeling relaxed and informal, you don’t get that in a standard restaurant. The food was amazing, we had scallops, venison steak, crab and lobster soup plus a delicious desert and scrummy canapés when we first arrived, drink prices were same as London so I don’t think overly expensive (well they are but no more than in the rest of the south!)the house music played was great, if you know music then you'll love it, if you're in to rmb funky rubbish and think that's "house" then don't bother or go and moan like everyone else on these reviews. Anyone who has moaned about the staff on here obviously were grumpy to them. We smiled, they smiled, we had one vegetarian and 3 separate allergies between us and they were very mindful of it. The staff gave 110% to everyone. We will definitely go back and I'll be telling everyone to go.

We visited Supper Club London last night (23.10.10) for the first time.
There was a large party of us, 21 in total and arrived late due to traffic which made me a little uneasy as I thought that we would be rushed in and hurried along, or even held back until an appropriate time in-between the cabaret. How wrong I was.
When we arrived the staff were great, they were relaxed greeted us in a warm welcoming way, extremely polite.
When we were taken through and shown to our table / bed every one of us stopped to take in our surroundings. WOW what a venue, hard to explain as it really is a must be seen to be believed kind of place.
The vibe was nice and relaxed with the large beds and nice music playing.
The waiters were friendly the service was tip top, the food was superb, real top restaurant quality.
The cabaret acts were awesome, again it must be seen to be believed, the acrobatic balancing guy was just out of this world, the violinist was truly amazing, Then there was the pole dancer! carried out in true class and not in a sleazy way.
Once dinner was through the music was turned up a few notches, the pace was picked up and every one in the building was dancing, great tunes played by DJ Femi Fem he certainly knew how to get the crowed excited and hold them there.
I would certainly recommend it and will be organising another trip in the near future.

To go to Supper Club is to go to, well, a world you never want to leave. Upon arrival, we were held in a bar area where the staff were friendly, the cocktails were sweet (cocktail included in the 'experience' price) and the music was turned up a touch to prep us for what was to come.

This was all before doors peeled back to reveal a white room peppered with low blue haze neon lights and beds protruding from the walls, surrounding the perimeter of the room. We were blown away and I have to say, pretty excited along with everyone else in the room. The chatter commenced immediately and the vibe was full of giddy anticipation of what we would all be treated to.

The food was alright. The service was something else though... completely unbelievable. There must be a pretty amazing recruitment process because while the staff were all equally kooky, they were all more than friendly and incredibly efficient - absolutely full of personality and not in that pretentious way. I hate to say it because it clearly says that par standard service is the norm around London, but these guys were seriously incredible.

On top of the wait staff dashing around, there were also 2 people roaming the room, massaging everyone for about 10 minutes each. Talk about above and beyond! It was just one of the little extra touches I didn't expect.

After the entertainment for the evening (which I really don't want to go in to as I could spoil it for anyone reading this, but suffice it to say that I can almost guarantee that you will not be disappointed), the DJ kicked in. I could have danced all night to Femi Fem (the resident DJ). I hate groupies, but the music was just sooooooo good, I had to go and ask where I could download some music from. Sad? Maybe, but it was just that good! The whole room was moving. Femi Fem was absolutely A-MAH-ZING!

I can't rave enough about Supper Club. I already have a few more nights planned there with different groups of friends and I only went two weeks

Appalling evening. Having had our booking changed about three times because the supper club was being 'renovated' (I think this was just an excuse for overbooking us), the rude receptionist couldn't find us on the guest list. We were then crammed onto a garden table in the middle of the dance floor instead of on a bed like everyone else. The barman was incredibly rude and refused to accept he had heard our order incorrectly. The food was dismal - we were treated like second class citizens because we had a voucher, so were given different food to the full paying clients. That said, their food was served in dog bowls and was little more than a few leaves of salad. Second course was cold soup (supposedly gazpacho) served in a cocktail glass with whipped cream - awful. Third and fourth courses were nice, as was the cocktail. Drinks overpriced and watered down, as well as being flat. The entertainment was appalling - a very bad drag singer and a dubious hula hooper of uncertain gender. Supposedly a free massage was part of the deal, but there were only two masseuses for the whole club. One of them was overheard complaining in the toilets that everyone had been told they were getting a free massage so she wasn't getting any tips - so they then targetted all of the businessmen and asked outright for more money if they weren't satisfied with the tips. Service was appalling - the staff (bizarrely dressed in hula outfits?!) threw our food at us and were so busy trying to be cool they forget they were actually doing a job. If you want the most pretentious place in London, where people throw away money in a vain attempt to be fashionable, this is your place. It was so bizarre and surreal we expected a TV crew to jump out. don't waste your money!

I went to the Supper club on a Saturday night - we didn't go for dinner however just wanted a place to dance and drink. The music is appallingly bad house, drinks are outrageously overpriced at £9 for a vodka tonic and the crowd is not very hip at all.
It is a cool venue - just get a decent DJ to play cool Ibiza vibes and you will be half way there at least.
What has happened to the nightlife in Notting Hill...I will stick to East London!

A group of us went here for the 1st time last night and had a great evening. The food, atmosphere, cocktails, entertainment and service were all amazing.
There is no menu, but there is a delicious 4 course dinner brought to you through out the evening. Sitting or laying on huge white beds, so relaxing you almost feel like you're at home chilling with your friends on the couch.
Waiters and waitresses constantly checking we were OK and if we needed more drinks.
What a fabulous venue with every thing you need under one roof, it's a very camp affair, chatting at the end of the evening to the drag queen who had earlier been stapling himself and the male fire-breather in high heels.....Bizarre...but very entertaining.

Will most definitely go again

this place is very disappointing. luckily we got a deal for £17.50 and paid £5 for a bottle of beer on a Monday night but no way would I pay £63 for small amounts of food that clearly doesnt cost even £5 to make. the atmosphere is lacking it feels like being in a mental ward crossed with an aircraft hangar. I thoroughly recommend that you dont go to this place.

I went to this venue with high hopes but was severely disappointed , It tries far too hard but clearly does not have the skill to know the difference between cool entertainment and talent . Looks like they trauled some grotty clubs for cheap entertainment , and I must say they dressed up the very average food in a trendy manner by serving it to you in beds (white) that are placed around the edge of a huge room like a mental ward in a desperate hope it may seem different . They need to seriously consider there stale formula and take advantage of the locatiopn and get something special on the bill and perhaps give people a choice of what to eat , v hard to choose a wine when you don't know what your overpaying for . There sound system sounded very tinny and treble top ended probably another shortcut at quality and expense , even after dinner the lighting remains the same stark bright white making an atmosphere almost impossible to achieve .Its too contrived tries too hard and is highly pretencious . This may work in Amsterdam though I have never been , but unless they re assess and stop thinking they can throw food at people on beds and expect them all to fall in with the idea they are being super cool and spend some actual money on the place before they demand it of there customers then I'd say there are much better ways to spend an average of a hundred quid or more each. Looke like new management or a serious re think is required here before I would venture there again , dont waste ya time is my advice .

Visited last night 23rd April. It's difficult to eat 4 courses lying or sitting on a mattress with no table! A bit like having a TV dinner in bed. M+S type sushi followed by a hideous detox type tomato drink. The main course was duck, almost cold and hard to cut up without a table. The fact that you weren't allowed to know what food was going to arrive, made choosing a wine annoying. The music was average, the Tina Turner act wouldn't make it on to the auditions of Britain's got talent and the over lit dance floor lacked atmosphere. Over priced and arrogant, a case of a venue trying to be too cleaver by half!

A foul and pestilent place at best full of loud mouthed bankers and brainless bimbos looking for an easy score, with three friends were at the Supper Club last night. One of the girls was standing with us and had a skirt on and some scumbag took a photo up her skirt. She was really upset and when we asked the bouncers they did nothing. So we complained and then they had to ask the scumbag and his mates for the camera but they denied having it.

if you want overpriced drinks, bad food, and cocksure filth then go the Supper Club. If you want attentive staff and a good time, go elsewhere. I couldn't recommend the latter higher than giving this place 1 star - and that is because I want to warn everyone off this place.

I've been to the Supperclub in Amsterdam, so was expecting big things from the new London venue.
I couldn't have been more disappointed. Having 'bigged' the place up to friends who were joining me for my birthday, I was let down from the start. The staff were appalling, service non-existent. We had our starters thrown on to the table and when we enquired whether any of them were veggie, merely got a shrug of the shoulders and no response. Staff then chose to stand directly in front of our bed as the performers started and seemed oblivious (or may be they just didn't care!) about their guests behind them. I'd like to tell you it got better, but I can't, we left. I'm happy to pay £100 per head for food and drinks, but I expect a certain quality of staff, service and food for that. It really was one of the most terrible dining and drinking experiences of my life. Very very disappointed. Perhaps, if you haven't been to the one in Amsterdam, your expectations will be lower than mine, but 2 of the guests who came with me, who hadn't been to a Supperclub before, were equally disappointed. All I can say is, don't believe the hype. It seemed that the Bouncers, bar, cloak room and restaurant staff had the same attitude - they were doing you a favour just being there, they weren't there to serve you. The only decent thing about the whole experience (if you don't include leaving!!) was the Restaurant Manager who apologised profusely... by the looks of things, he's got his work cut out with the London venue. AVOID.

Just read the review below and I'm surprised.... maybe you were expecting too much or had such a vision of what you expected,my friend and i all loved it,we had no problem with any of the staff, all very friendly and happy(maybe they read your review the night before we went and decided to make an effort) i cannot understand what is the big fuss about the price...
Go to any decent restaurant and you will spend probably £10/15 on a starter, main course £15/25,dessert £8/10,about the same, you still have to buy drinks, you still pay service and you will probably be seated in a chair on a good table and simply eat and enjoy the chit chat etc...thats pretty much your lot,if you then decide to have a night out and a dance, you would probably go to a night club,so then next is either pay £20/25 to get in or get a table and bottle for a few hundred pound.so you spend more and get your standard good night out that you probably have done a few times before in your life...At the Supper club we got a 4 course meal(maybe we were in luck)and i had no problem with any of the food and at the same time you are chilling on a bed with your shoes off, which makes it feel more on the relaxed tip,my best friend got a massage off one of the girls at the club (for free) and through the night we had some odd and whacky entertainment through the whole dinner, good vibes and music and we got to dance with our shoes off and when we got tired we lay down and all for £50....I think that a good deal in my book and i was not disappointed in the slightest and all my friends are talking about the next time, its different and thats all there is to it,i guess some people expect too much,i'v read some people compare it to the Supper club in Amsterdam and say its not the same etc,but in my view no 2 venues in the world are the same,i'v been to Pacha Ibiza and Pacha london,Buddha bar Paris Buddha Bar london, not the same at all! but still good in its own right...I like it and give a 5*....

crap crap crap. Awful, shit food, entertainment? I'm not sure a scantily clad nurse rubbing what looks like period blood all over her (just before dinner) is meant to be entertaining?! Then to add insult to injury a whopping bloody great big service charge on the bill! What service surely the arrogant staff are getting paid enough to fetch a drink. I will never recommend this place, the majority of people that go are stuck up pretentious idiots or extremely young looking girls (probably looking for a footballer) trying to outdo each other with short skirts / sexy dancing. Don't go.

the staff is great and really helpful. Very good food, not excellent.. but I'm Italian and aways a bit picky as far as food is concerned.
I loved the atmosphere and the music. Drinks were perfect too.
Well, it's obviously not cheap.. but when I want to save money I go to the pub and I don't order champagne ;-)

0 stars!Having had a fantastic time at the Supperclub in Amsterdam a few years ago I was looking forward to visiting the Notting Hill branch last night...One word APPALLED! Another DREADFUL! Oh and VERY DISAPPOINTING! It gets my vote for one of the worse venues in London. Terrible interiors, very slow and rude bar staff. Hugely overpriced nasty drinks served up by incompetent staff. To add insult to injury the bar closed while the band (Sugarbabes) performed! The only staff that smiled was a guy on the door, the cloakroom girl and the toilet attendant. On would imagine they have the very little to smile about working in that dive, but what a relief for the punters that not everyone working there has an attitude problem. As long as I live I will NEVER set foot in that hell hole again.

Saturday 13th Feb was my first time and owwwwww my god! You want a west end crowd, rnb and fidget pop house or classic disco or Dance chart tunes that you hear in every club? Then this is not for You! Vip room. What vip room, the whole place is a vip room, everybody including the staff are vips on the night. The Music was amazing! Yes amazing!, Fantastic fresh exciting music that just makes you dance. The dj on that night was honestly Fantastic. Could not stop dancing. My Hat off to the dj. Feathers all over the place, people laughing and dancing, jumping on and off the beds, happy happy face's and not your standard boring west end crowed looking at each other hoping to see the next Football player or wanna be wag's and trying to outdo the next person with the Bling etc. East London party vibe comes to the west.

If you like Movida, china white or Jalouse type people and cheezzzzy rehashed or remixed boring pop music and Rnb than this is not for you. I cannot comment on the food as I went after the Dinner time. Drinks were Very reasonable in price. I'm going with all my friend every Saturday.5* for entertainment and vibe. Love the Music

My husband and I went to the Supperclub in Amsterdam a few years ago and never forgot the experience so when I heard there was one in London I couldn't wait to book it for my husband as a 40th birthday present. The location was a bit iffy and but you can't really miss the venue once on Acklam Rd as there is a huge Supperclub sign on the front of the building. We were met by a bouncer (which we didn't get in Amsterdam but hey that's London for you) and were then greeted by a lovely lady who showed us to the cloakroom and told us what happens next. We went into Bar Rouge and as we were the first ones there it felt a bit surreal as the bar was quiet all but for the sound check in the main room. We had some cocktails, the bar filled up, (it seems we had arrived a bit early at just after seven) and we were then shown to our 'bed' which at first we weren't happy with as there were two loud groups either side of us and we had no room. I had a word with our host/hostess as I had requested a nice bed for the special occasion and she moved us to a much better one upstairs on the mezzanine floor which was perfect.

Our waitress for the night couldn't do enough for us and even brought me a blanket when she saw I was cold (take a cardi or something girls as the air con is a bit chilly). The entertainment was funny, and in some parts a tad bizarre but worth watching, the food was in small portions but tasted good, especially the fish and beef, and the wine was good (but expensive). Ask for tap water as the bottled stuff costs over a fiver. Music was lovely and chilled and got more 'clubby' at about midnight when they let in other people who just go for the club. All in all we had a lovely night, slightly different to Amsterdam - it was more chilled there - but we still had a nice time. It's somewhere unique to go for a treat, it's quite pricey and remember that when you pay the bill the service charge that is added to it doesn't go to your waitress. Have fun!

They say a happy customer tells one or two people but an unhappy customer tells everyone they know. So how was the Supperclub? Where to start. Having been to Amsterdam (like so many others), San Fran and Singapore I had high hopes for London. Amsterdam went down as one of my best nights many years ago, London went down as one of the worst. I have now been on 3 occasions, once to the launch, once by invite and lastly with business. Every time failed to impress, why!? Location - it’s wrong. To be the uber sexy, fun and convenient it needs a W1 address or perhaps a hidden Soho or Shoreditch door (milk and Honey entrance good example or just take a look at Amsterdam again).

Opening time - well it shuts a 2am, which on one hand is poor because later would allow a much sexier night out but on the other hand I don’t really want to be out on Acklam road (under fly over) after dark anyway, trust me its not a nice area, just ask the cabbies if you dont believe me. Really needed an ultra sexy, hidden, sophisticated location this is not. Amsterdam staff were, sexy, well dressed, well mannered, interesting and fun. London staff, pretentious, short (manners), poor service, big room for improvement. Lighting and venue - It feels too small. The lighting is not a patch on other venues and this is were the club should be a shining beacon of creativity and example to all others. I have been wowed by lasers and projections in a few select clubs and this needed, no had to be one of them and it wasn’t. Design - it’s a large white room! Fixings in front of beds upstairs should have been "see through" or just better design, simply they need to be more stylish.

Bar could have been something modern, exciting, funky, sexy, fun, intriguing, crazy, but its not. Acts - Well if anything this is were the club has to be outstanding, a big selling point, its what makes it stand out from the crowd and say "look at me, im amazing and unique!" And unfortunately it doesn’t.

If you have not been to a Supper Cub you have to go its amazing: great venue, entertaining staff, great food, good performances and great music.

I have been to SupperClub in Amsterdam several time and loved it there. But I'm very happy and proud that London has got their own SupperClub now. A must see and feel experience!

Since the opening night which i thought was brilliant, probably one of the best night this year for me,the people the vibe the entertainment and the amazing music played by the great Dj's on that night was off the hook...I'v been back since and to my surprise it was still so much fun,you really can switch off in there, just entertainment in some shape or form ... You should make the journey at least once, dip into the food, sip your drink, watch and listen to the tunes.....
