Had a meal in The Swan on Monday 12th August 2008 at 5.30pm. Asked for three different meals before we found one they actually had available. Also asked for a portion of Garlic bread (£1.99 for one slice)When it eventually arrived, it was just a piece of toasted bread, no flavour whatsoever. I complained and it was obvious that the landlord was not at all happy that I had!! I was given another slice which tasted and smelled very strange, so I took one bite and left the rest. The other food was very bland and to my mind overpriced, so take my advice and don't eat here

The Swan is a great spot. As a business traveller you get tired of hotels and quiet meals alone. I love The Swan and my decision to stay around Lancaster Gate is influenced by this establishment.
