Went to sway on 19th July for my friends 21's birthday!!!! when entering club no1 gets searched! I found this very strange also made me feel quite uncomfortable. The club in genenal is extremely small. I found the drinks are very expensive!!! 2redbulls and 1 single malibu and coke £14.70. Music is ok. started of in the soul/rnb room. (its about the size of my bedroom) felt very cramped!! no where to sit down as the seats they do have you have to reserve. All the music was repeated!!! Lots of hen parties / people dressed up. Felt like a cheesy school disco. Its not stictly over 21's. Pictures on internet look really nice. club is tacky floors are sticky and it smells damp. Must mention no attitude in club and everyone did seem really friendly even boucers and bar staff. very helpful. But overall a terrible night!!! very disappointed. :-(

Hi, can anyone tell me what music is played at Sway on Saturday nights? Do they play any R n' B?

When I went it was sexy house, which is their music policy that night. However, a few RnB tunes creep in - it's all v commercial. If you want full on RnB you might be better off going to Red Rooms across the road from Sway. ViewLondon does a great guestlist for Sway and Red Rooms - both are OK clubs in my opinion. - Report

My friends and I recently visited Sway for my 18th birthday. I was quite disappointed with the venue. The club is tiny, felt like I was at a school disco. I had reserved a booth; it was certaintly not cosy or private like I had expected, its literally a few stools in a corner of the dancefloor. Music was fantastic though, and we danced the night away. Drinks are reasonably priced, not excessive but far from cheap. Thankfully I arrived about 930 so got in for free, but my friends arrived around 950 and had to pay £10, despite the website claiming entry before 10 is free. Thanks to mulitple shots, I had a really fun night, but certainly will not be returning to Sway, there are FAR FAR better places in London.

Me and a group of friends went to SWAY for my hen on the 22nd March! None of us had been there before! We all had a really good time but it could have been a lot, lot better!

The music was really good and the people were really friendly except for a few girls who were there, who were giving us dirty looks all nyt! Get a life u losers! The bouncers were a bunch of tossers as well though! They let 15 gals in except for one! And she was over 18!

We reserved a booth but when we got in after half an hour of queuing up, the booth was taken! But we still got the bottle of champagne!

I wouldn’t go back to SWAY! It was a good nyt but there are much better bars and clubs in Central London 2go2! This bar is a perfect example of a student’s den!

So 4 all of you mature people out there go else where!!!!

I'm organising my hen, and one of the places i was thinking of going was to Sway, but after reading your review, i'm not so sure now.

Like myself, most of my friends are over 30...

Where would you recommend? - Report

Well if you and your mates are over 30 stay away from this place! Seriously it's full of students! We went on a Saturday nyt thinking it would be full of mature people... OBVIOUSLY NOT! Music was good though but have been to plenty of other clubs were the music and crowd is a hundred times better! - Report

Great venue, great drinks and fantastic choice of music..

however the queue get's busy really early on a saturday night so if you want to get in for free (before 10pm) aim to arrive around 9:15. The door and bar staff are bolshy and slow, having said that, a good night overall!

Five of us went to sway whilst in London on a Hen weekend. We went on a Thurday so it was really quiet but the place is great. The staff were really friendly & couldn't do enough for us. The food was fantastic & the cocktails had plenty of alcohol in them!!! We went down into the club after our meal, the music was fine, lots of dance & chart stuff but it wasn't busy so we didn't really feel like we could have a dance without looking stupid :-(
All in all the staff including security were really nice & we would definately go again.

Horrible. Avoid at all costs. The staff are extremely rude!
