All change on the food front. The pub now serves good, honest, 'Great British' pub food including home-cooked pies. The emphasis is still on the quality drinks (including 8 cask ales) and warm atmosphere which is supported by excellent bar staff. Tapping the Admiral just keeps getting better

Wonderful atmosphere, great staff and real ale served to the highest standard. Now that's my idea of the perfect pub - Tapping the Admiral is as good as it gets and the recent addition of Sunday roasts to the offering make this pub one of the hidden gems of London. A must visit venue for anyone who appreciates quality

This joint is perfectly situated just off the beaten path of nearby main-line twin-borough high streets and is well worth a journey round the corner from either for a warm welcome, a superb range of imbibements and some well tasty n affordable Thai food. This newly renovated pub is in many ways at the heart of both bordering boroughs and you'll be guaranteed a lovely time regardless of season, reason or way. This spot is an absolute treasure - get there while you can.

Yes i fully understand the real ales are perhaps the precipice and pinnacle(not pineapple)of the attraction of this slightly off the beat and track fledgling charming Boozer.However the Pilsner lagers ,the Happy Hour (3 short hours).The charming and knowledgeable staff make TAPPING THE ADMIRAL,(or if you prefer:imbibing a tot of Nelson's Blood ) Then you should take the time to pay this hidden treasure trove a Vist
