We absolutely love the place.Friendly staff .Lovely atmosphere and our sort of crowd. On top of this we popped in to Teds for some pre clubbing drinkies and found out that Wednesday night is now karaoke night! The bonus is Jackie who presents it( a brilliant singer by the way)use to host karaoke at some of our fav karaoke bars in the past in south London(The Redcap,Dukes,RV and the 2 Brewers). She was brilliant then.Even better now.She has a fab voice and some wicked smutty one liners. She encourages everyone who gets up in the nicest possible way.She knows how to get just the right sound.Youre not pressurised into singing.Even if you dont just sit back and listen to her amazing vocals. Her Dusty songs were awesome. Wednesday was the best ever.Welcoming relaxed fun evening. We were going early and onto a club. However we were having such a great time we stayed to the very end.Teds Place on a Wednesday is a must for us from now on!Nigel and Adam. xxxx

I love this place. You need a totaly open mind about it but I found the staff so friendly and helpful. If you want a place where you are left alone for a quiet drink this is not it.

If you want the Ritz dig deep, why did you go there in the first place?

It seems like you are a professional grouch, everytime i have been there everybody has been very friendly, maybe you would be better off at the Sally army.

As for this site it is very informative, but you probably cant read that well, i will ask them to put more pictures on the site for you. Teds is supposed to be sleazy, thats why a lot of people go there.

Ted's Place is so good on a Thursday (if you like that kind of thing!). A genuinely friendly place with lots of nice girls and guys and for £3 entry you really can't complain. Ted's Place isn't for the faint hearted though - you have been warned!

I'm a TV and have heard 'things' about Ted's place and to be honest what I have heard just makes me want to go even more out of curiosity!I am not sure when it is busy and what to really expect. I have heard there is a chance of meetings happening which would be the main reason for me going. If anyone has any info I would be grateful....maybe even some dates in mind? With so much fun to be had it would be a shame not to see what it's all about xx
