I am an avid fan of Thai food and this was not one that delighted my pallet.

Firstly, the service was appalling, the waitress had obviously got up on the wrong side of the bed and it showed.

She sneered at us and made our party of 3 feel ridiculous when we chose not to order wine.

The ambiance was dull, no music and 6 or so tables jammed into the first entrance room. The dishes were repeatedly clanged and in full sight in the small room and we were quickly rushed through our meal.The food was mediocre.

My drunken duck was served lukewarm, though this could be because it sat on the counter until the other meals arrived and was undesirably fatty.

The price was high, though for the area, moderate.I will not be coming back to this restaurant and recommending others not to go also. Very disappointing.

This was my first thai experience... and the food was really good- fresh, smelt good, was nice and warm, the rice was just perfect, and even the "giant spring roll" was phenomenal!

My only complaints are
- crappy service
- not a very cute venue- very small, crowded, loud, uncomfortable seats

But the food was good, so if you want a quick meal with some good food.... def this Thai Square!

Thai Square was a little loud when I went there but for a group I imagine it would be perfect. The Red Curry is too die for, though perhaps a little too hot for my palate!


Overall I had a good experience at the Thai Square, in fact, I'd recommend it!
