Great food but chairs were put on the table at 11:02 and asked to drink up at 11:05. then are drinks were stolen off us at 11:15 by surly staff!
Thank God this place has changed!! New managers, new staff and a nice atmosphere... I had food there and it was really good. The ladies behind the bar were lovely and made me feel so welcome. Good Banter, Good Food and excellent service Kentish Town was in serious need of this!! I'll defiantly be going back there soon...
Cockroaches! Running all over the place behind the bar! On the glasses, the bottles! Found a cockroach in last half of a kronnebourg! Yes! I'd already drunk the other half! Management said 'it happens! There's nothing we can do!'they were even kind enough to offer me a free beer!? A Good place to get a seat though, locals wont touch it! It relies on passing trade from the forum where they think you'll be to drunk to notice! I wonder what Camden environmental services will say? I wish I knew how to add a picture, it says it all! P. S the sight wouldn't let me give it less than one star, sorry

The Assembly House was just redone about a year ago and boy what a difference it has made! The staff are friendly, food portions are large & very tasty, atmosphere is good as long as Arsenal isn't on the telly, decour is wonderful. The Assembly House just might become my new favourite pub in Kentish Town!
After 8pm, The Assemby House in Kentish Town is probably the only pub in the area you're guaranteed to get a seat (unless Arsenal are playing away). Watch out for the added fun of riot vans on Saturdays - if you're lucky!
The Assembly House is also very handy to find from the station which makes it ideal for meeting people in.
