I always rely on The Bear and Staff whenever I have to go out in Leicester Square. It's not the best pub in London but if you fancy watching the footy or there's a group of you who want a table, then The Bear and Staff is a good place to know. The downstairs is pretty small but upstairs has another bar where it's easier to get a table and get served.
