The Best Pubs to Watch Football
With the cost of going to watch your team play these days reaching astronomical proportions, the next best thing is to head to a proper footie-loving pub to soak up the atmosphere and watch it on a big screen. The best pubs to watch football show all the big games (naturally), but they also attract footie-mad punters, so you know you'll be in good company come kick-off.
Famous 3 Kings
171 North End Road, Fulham, London, W14 9NL
13 screens show all the big games, with channels beaming in footage from all over the world. They even announce which games will be in which rooms, so you never have to miss your team. One of the best pubs to watch football in London? Absolutely.

Roxy Bar and Screen
128-132 Borough High Street, Borough, London, SE1 1LB
They show sporting events including England football games, Champions League games and big Premiership games, pulling in a decent crowd of regulars and people who have travelled to catch the game on the massive screen. It’s so impressive that you’ll almost feel you’re in the stadium.

Worlds End
21-23 Stroud Green Road, Finsbury Park, London, N4 3EF
Partisan football fans should be forewarned that this is an Arsenal pub, attracting the Gunners of Finsbury Park in their hordes on match days (it is especially packed before home games at the nearby Emirates Stadium). However, concessions are made to fans of different clubs too, with the day's action projected on to a large screen next to the main entrance.

The Albion
94 Goldsmiths Row, Shoreditch, London, E2 8QY
The Albion stands out with its West Bromwich Albion themed blue and white paint job, and the interior is plastered with scarves, plaques, flags, badges, shirts and pictures - all following a football theme. Team colours decorate the walls from the Barcelona branded crisps (not for sale) to the Gillingham scarve. All the big games are shown. Prepare to 'boing boing' if the Baggies are on.

The George
The Andaz London, 40 Liverpool Street, The City, London, EC2M 7QN
Need somewhere to watch the footie by Liverpool Street station? The George is a very good choice indeed. This pub is actually attached to the boutique splendour of the Andaz Hotel, and from the outside it doesn't look like much, but step inwards and you will enter into a handsome room with a big plasma dominating one wall, making it a popular place to watch footie and all major sporting events.
