Extremely impressed! Five of us went to celebrate a work friends Birthday on a Tuesday night. Every moment of our evening was just perfect, the layout and design of the 1920's style restaurant is cosy and romantic, the staff were very friendly and the food....wow...the food was exceptional! The live music made the night even more special. I have never been to a restaurant like it, a hidden gem where you can relax and have fun. I can not wait to visit again!
I had a wonderful birthday dinner with friends, at this divinely candle lit restaurant in Clapham. The whole evening was fantastic from start to finish. The food was cooked to perfection, the fillet steak was delicious and such good value for money. The Chateaubriand was the best that I have tried in a long time. The staff were friendly and attentive and the service was superb. I have since been back for a romantic drink or two with with my partner, the live music is wonderful, for after work drinks with colleagues and to prop up the bar with the girls. Mainly to indulge in the fantastic happy hour cocktails, all cleverly created by the charmingly witty bar staff. Perfect for any occasion, I would recommend this place to anyone!
We visited this hidden gem whilst on a visit to my son who lives in Clapham - all I can say is it was awesome from the first tentative knock on the entrance door to the time we departed.
The attention to detail by the staff was highly commendable and the service and food were both perfect - we are not 'townies' and live in the country but would definately recommend this venue either for an informal afternoon tea or more lavish a la carte meal if you are visiting the 'big city'.
After complaining about a less than satisfactory experience at this establishment I was invited to come back with my family and we were looked after more than enough to compensate for what had happened previously.
Each course was perfectly cooked, pristinely presented and the attentiveness and friendly attitude of our waitress made this the best night out I have ever enjoyed with my family. As if that wasn't enough we also had live music, happy-hour cocktails and the atmosphere and decor made us feel like royalty.
I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

I took my husband to this restaurant for a Valentines Day meal. We were impressed from the moment we were shown through the black gated entrance. The atmosphere was relaxing and romantic. It was clear that effort had been put into the design of the restaurant, even more so for Valentines Day.
We relaxed with a good quality and reasonably priced cocktail before being shown upstairs to the dining area. The tables were set beautifully with rose petals and candlelight, topped off with a female singer to add that extra bit of romance.
We were also pleased with the menu. The food was very nice and just the right amount. The icing on the cake was the well thought out cocktail selection which was included between courses on the special Valentines menu.
The staff were excellent, welcoming and polite. The overall costs was value for money at £80.00 for a good quality four course meal for 2 people including three cocktails.
Overall one of the best meals that we have had for some time and highly recommended.
This place is awesome! You must go if you here if you have the chance. Great atmosphere, amazing service and food.
Can not praise The Blind Tiger enough, the ambience is wonderful the décor/concept was spectacular! The Staff are flawless. (myself and most of my guest work in a 5 star hotel) and we were flabbergasted on the fantastic level of attentiveness and service. The Drinks were simply 'addictive' and the food was divine, everyone who came will definitely be returning,. By far my new London haunt
Wow, 5 star rating for this Clapham gem, had no idea it existed until my friend booked a table for 6 of us to dine here. Great staff and lovely atmosphere, and food was delicious. Well worth a visit.
Dined at the Blind Tiger last night, fantastic.
Great concept, place looked really good, like stepping back in time. Dinner was lovely, cocktails are amazing, old recipes, but for me the thing that really stood out was the service.
People who actually look like they enjoyed themselves at work, and were genuinely interested in the customer having a good time.
Cant recommend this place enough
Quite possibly the best restaurant I've ever visited in England! The food is to die for, the staff are attentive and friendly, the atmosphere is incredible and I want to eat there every day! Go there, as soon as you can! :)
