Quite a small bar which can be good at times. Usually quite grimey with a lot of students. Quieter section towards the back if karaoke isn't your style. Drinks prices are about £4 a drink though the bar is often understaffed.

A strange boozer, which somehow ticks a number of boxes others do not. Always shows sport on multiple screens along with a screen outside which you can watch on a side alley sat on benches. So for me that is a big tick. Another plus is the fact that it has a curry house above it. Whilst there is a standard pub menu, you are able to order a curry which they will let you eat sat at the bar or in the pub. Finally, when the sport ends and the evening gets later, the place turns into a karaoke bar. Strange, yet somehow it works. Plus the guvnor is very attentive and clearly cares about the service provided. In addition, I'd say it is decent value for money - wine is even pretty cheap.

Unreasonably expensive! 3.65 for a pint of Fosters and 4.50+ for any decent beers ... loads of other places in the neighborhood leave no reason to go waste your money here.
