I am a regular here and always had a very good time. Last week I even thought that the quality of food improved and the menu more varied, I bet they have an Italian chef...!
Good quality/price which is rare to find in London. Usually I spend more and eat poorly -in terms of quality-, at the Bobbins the food is really tasty without being greasy and the price is proper.
The environment and atmosphere are just right for a relaxed and cosy moment.
One of my favourite in the area!

Great little pub, hidden, but well worth tracking.
I had a very affordable jug of pimms and well made Sunday Roast - Cotswold Lamb shoulder is out of this world.
The girls are very helpful, all sweethearts. Sunny, lovely garden.
The Bobbin is the place to go after a long week.

Note that sunday roast is great but the pub is really busy,so it is always better if you book a table.
Never ever had bad experience there,so Bobbin here I come again!

Good food, AWFUL service.
Went on a busy Sunday for lunch.. we had to wait for our table, which was fine but after half an hour were starting to get a little restless. When we eventually got seated no one offered us a drink or a menu. We waited a while, being completely ignored, then eventually i asked a passing waitress for some menus. No "sorry, i'll just get some", or even a "no problem, just give me a minute".. just a curt "yes" and then two menus flung on the table. We felt completely ignored the entire time- even when the manager (we assume) gave us the bill and took our card payment there was no eye contact, let alone pleasantries.

It is totally unacceptable to be so rude to your customers. I appreciate they were very busy but a smile or a sorry takes no time at all. I would hope that a good manager would understand this and at least look his customers in the eye!

Such a shame as the food is really nice, full credit to the kitchen staff- they are the only reason this place gets one star.

We went for lunch there to celebrate an anniversary. So thanks The Bobbin for making us feel so special that day.
