The Brown Dog is just round the corner from me and as a consequence I've been there a few times now. The chicken and mushroom pie is my favourite - served with delicious mash. If you're in the area then this place is definitely a good place to grab some lunch, though I wouldn't say it's quite good enough to make a voyage to. Nice staff. Didn't see the brown dog though.
