Had a fantastic birthday meal and billiards party here a couple of weeks ago. Excellent service prior to the event, they were very accommodating including my changes of menu choices and numbers in the run up to the meal! Evening itself was fantastic - the food here is really excellent (a number of my friends mentioned it too) and the billiards room is a real bonus in Chelsea where there isn't a lot to make other pubs/bars stand out. No music in the billiards room which is a bit of shame but great for a big group and reasonable prices to hire. Overall a fantastic evening and will definitely be back.
We hired out the Billiard Room for a company social night and it was fantastic. The staff were very accommodating and attentive, and were always around to place drinks orders with. We also ordered lots of sharing platters and all the food was delicious. It also arrived very promptly. We had a great night there, and they couldn't have done any more to help us enjoy ourselves.
We hired out the Billiards Room at the Cadogan Arms for my birthday and it was perfect from start to finish. Nadia - the events manager looked after all our needs and all my guests went home stuffed with great food and good wine.
I would definitely recommend it and go back myself.
I spent a lovely Sunday afternoon at the Cadogan a few weeks ago when I went in for lunch with my boyfriend (we enjoyed it so much we didn’t leave until the evening). The portions for our roasts were so generous I didn't think I'd be able to finish mine but was it so delicious that we both cleaned our plates.
We were really well looked after by all the staff who were more than happy to answer questions on the menu and give us recommendations on the food and wine. The lovely manager even noticed we were running low on gravy and brought us more without us having to ask!
It was one of the nicest Sunday afternoons I’ve spent in ages and I’d definitely recommend it – nice atmosphere, great food and fantastic service.
Myself and some friends had dinner last week at the Cadogan and I can genuinely say it was fantastic. I had the special Lobster which was divine and the others tucked in to burgers (still split the bill equally ha ha). Great place for couples or groups, especially if you are in to pool as they have three retro style pool tables on the first floor.
Had roast at the Cadogan on Sunday and I must say the chicken to share was to die for! They also have pool tables on the first floor, perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
Highly reccomended!
Went into Cadogan Arms Pub/restaurant in Chelsea on Kings Road today, and boy was it brutal. The waitress said they were full, so we had to sit at the bar, which was ok, it was a couch and little round table. Sat down, looked at the one page menu, decided it would be a fish and chips kind of day. After ordering, the waitress came back and said they already sold the last fish and chips plate, thinking to myself, "then it shouldn't be on the menu, right?!" Anyway, went with some smoked salmon (lox) and a cup of hand cut chips. Another waitress who didn't know english, kept bringing us condiments, one by one. Why? We stopped her and asked if the fresh veges included the creamed brussell sprouts, she looked at us and said, "no potato?" wow. We said forget it.
Then, another waitress came by and cleaned up our table, part of which she thought was picking up the condiments the 2nd waitress had just dropped off. We said, "we aren't done yet, please leave the ketchup." The waitress looked shocked. We said, "we haven't even gotten our food yet, only our appetizers." Anyway, we got our food, it was alright, just waiting to get out of there. Decided we should try the dessert, we were still hungry. And at this point, my expectations were already low. Wasn't sure what won the award for most terrible thing in The Cadogan Arms, it was between the taxidermy on the walls of dead foxes, waitresses who didn't redefined waitressing, or the award winning food that was on the menu but not in the kitchen.
The dessert was good, it was delicious, ordered the apple tart with honeycomb ice cream. But then again, they could've served me a mcdonald's 2 for $1 apple pie and threw some soft serve and I wouldn't have known the difference I was so hungry. So, I got the bill, and checked out the total, and noticed, "1 streetsmart" Huh?! What was this I thought, I decided to ask the 1st waitress. She said it was a charity. I said, but I never got any information about it, nor di
