A party of 4 we had a drink in the bar, asked about the menu and found the bar staff helpful. We went up to the restaurant where the food was served reasonably quickly and was good value for money.
We would be happy to return.

If I could give this place less than one star I would. My boyfriend and I went in for dinner and were seated at a table for 4, as it was the last table they had available. After we had ordered our food and drinks we were told very unpleasantly to leave as a party of 6 (who hadn't booked) had come in. They clearly just wanted the cash and even tried to charge me for the wine that I'd managed to take one sip of. The Waiter and Manager were unbelievably rude and aggressive and didn't even attempt an apology. Unfriendly and unwelcoming doesn't even cover it. Unless you like being treated with utter contempt I would avoid it at all costs.

As a fan of real ale i was pleased to see a great choice on offer! i went for lunch and had the fish and chips (which was fantastic) and washed it down with a couple of pints of strawdog. The staff were very helpfull and friendly!

This pub would be great, but the staff are so unpleasant. They're quite aggressive and their attitude towards customers makes what would be a lovely pub, quite a poor one. Wouldn't recommend going.

The Cambridge always lets us play the rugby. They open up early and open the kitchen for bacon sandwiches. The Cambridge is a good little pub.
