Went to the Cape bar over the hot weekend we just had it was great to sit out side in the sun shine had a fab sunday roast would recormend this bar to anyone for service and food.

We went to Cape for a team lunch today, we hadnt been there for a while. We ordered our food within minutes of eachother and within a few minutes it had started to arrive... so we thought we were in luck as it was quite busy in there. But after 30 minutes we started to get worried as only 3 peoples meals had arrived. We queried the delay and was told by the manager (or so we think) that as they cook the burgers from frozen they take time?????? what 30 minutes mate????? so after waiting another 15 mins about 6 peoples food arrived. but one of our team had been left out..... when asked by one of the waitresses if she could cancel it the most she got was a grunt!!!! so up the bar my mate went and explained we had been waiting for an hour, and all she wanted was some mushroom burger.. I suppose they cook those from frozen too????? she got her money back and a take away of her meal....(nice cold mushroom). All in all I would not (big NOT) recommend CAPE to ANYONE the service is poor and the management are patronising to say the least.. SAVE YOUR MONEY........

Went to the Thomas More bar on Saturday , ordered some food , half an hour after ordering the waitress came back to us to advise they run out of our original choice ! Depiste the place not being full we had to wait another half an hour later before our burgers turned up. Microwave focaccia bread , chewy burgers !
