It is very much a Hotel bar. It has a good range of ales, obviously Fuller’s which are well kept.

A clean, welcoming and functional bar area with plenty of seating available for the weary traveller.

We were a little nervous when checking into The Chamberlain as the hotel is on top of the downstairs bar which was packed and noisy when we arrived on a Friday evening. Our room was on the 1st floor and out to the street which was busy with people smoking and drinking outside. There was no need to be nervous at all. Couldn't hear the noise at all from the room and on Saturday the area was pretty dead.

Great room, great service and good location for GBP90 per night. I'll be staying here again.

I had a few bevvies at The Chamberlain the other week whilst staying at the hotel of the same name. The Chamberlain has nice decor, however the brew (Fullers) is a bit more pricey than I'm used to. In saying that, The Chamberlain was overall a good experience.
