My main gripe is the food. I had the burger. It was literally an overcooked piece of meat in between two dry buns, with a very, very meagre sprinkling of chips. No salad, no garnish, no effort on presentation whatsoever. The food barely covered half of the plate.

We were later told that there was 'no salad' as they'd run out. But it would've been nice to have been told this when ordering. Or could've given us some more chips, or anything to make the plate look vaguely presentable or made a teeny tiny bit of effort.

My companions also received similarly meagre, plain plates of food.
If I was the waiter I would've felt pretty embarrassed putting these bare plates down in front of customers.

Substandard.

Came to watch the Cricket the other day,

the atmosphere was great the pub has got an open plan where you feel you have space to walk about,

a fruit machine and an IT box always nice to break the ice with mates, considering i don't drink much in London i was very surprised over the price of a drink ,

i had a kronenberg and it was 3.30 and in my local pub out in bedfordshire its 3.20 !For the amount of screens and food at a satisfactory price with good portions this pub tries to offer a wide range of facilities to customers at a great price.

unfortunately my evening was cut a bit short after the sport as they were setting up for a private function which in any case looked exciting big speakers and disco equipment looked like it was gonna be a blast

will come back for the David Hayes fight in November, they have a 24hr license so the barmaid told me they shut when the fight finishes and everyone gets tired!!

After looking for a place to eat and relax over the Christmas holiday I found this friendly and warm pub open. It was the only pub open in the area but I was pleased that I came across it for a number of reasons.

I enjoyed a perfect pint of real ale along with a home made meat pie with the best mash I have had in ages. I was in my comfort zone and stayed all afternoon.

I would reccomend the food and beer as being well above average but surprise surprise the price was well below what I would expect for London

The City Pride has got quite pricey drinks. It probably is one of the better pubs in the area but as regulars we prefer somewhere with better service. City Pride does have a good beer garden.
