A very nice relaxing place with staff whom are like a family. Always eager to see how you are and always at hand to serve. I have taken many trips to the venue in all seasons, a very nice and respected meeting place for locals and tourists. A place that is at the heart of Greenwich Market.

I went to the pub last night with friends for a couple of drink and everything was going ok until I decided to go to the bar to buy some more drinks,the barman (a man with dreadlocks,short and black skin)was standing shoulders to the counter arranging some bottles,i was waiting for him to get it done so I could order but instead he asked me what do I wanted to order and so i've answered,he did non let me finish to talk and shouting at me he said that he could no hear a word I was saying and told me off (in front of several tables around the counter,that turn their heads from the loud voices) also told me off because I was pointing at one beer I did not know how to pronounce shouting if my mother has never told me not to point at thinks! I was totally disgusted by his attitude (that apparently was only for me as other customers that approached him after changed into normal polite as it should be) I have paid and left shocked by the way I was treated as a customer. I would never dream in million years to put my feet in there ever, I am a grown up man and not a kid to deserve that treatment and would strongly not recommend that pub to anyone would ask! That guy had obvious issues that I would suggest to get sorted somewhere else before showing his face for customer service! Iggy

This is my regular haunt...plenty of character and a wide selection of beverages available. Polite staff too.
