The Curtains Up comes into its own at 6pm in early summertime when the champagne bar at the Queens Club closes and the action moves to the large, open and friendly pub on the corner of Comeragh and Vereker roads between Baron's Court and West Ken tubes.

At other times of the year it's sofas and tables are occupied by locals unwinding from a day's work. The fringe theatre venue is often in action and attracts people from all over London to pepper the mix.

A fair range of wines and draught beers and often running special offers on double shots. Locals (as once I was) love it because it's unpretentious and stumbling distance from the homestead.
