I have now been to the The Donovan Bar (at the Brown's) three times in the past two months; it has become one of my favourite bars to visit. Cocktails at The Donovan Bar are fabulous - possibly the best I've had in the city. Equally fabulous atmosphere - mix of classic and modern. Highly recommend visiting.

The Donovan Bar is very sophisticated. So much so that I felt rather scruffy in my attempt to dress up. I went there for my birthday with my Fiance and the atmosphere was very up market.


It's not the kind of place I would usually go, but The Donovan Bar really wasn't up to scratch I felt. The staff were very snooty and made me feel distinctly uncomfortable. The drinks were good and all that, but I don't really see the point if you get made to feel like some kind of scum.

My friends and I went to The Donovan Bar for the first time at the weekend and we were very impressed. The cocktails were delicious and believe me we tried enough to know if they weren't! I'm not surprised one of the bartenders at The Donovan Bar won a cocktail competition recently, they were very impressive.
