Best steak I've ever had and I've eaten some steak in my life! food is delicious, service is great.

The food at this pub is awesome. It's not like any of the pubs I know. I agree, the menu is a bit complecated and you don't really know what the dishes are and how they would taste, but once you get some courage I bet you'll like it. However, I think it might be too new for English who like their burgers :)

As a local I used to dine at The Earl of Spencer at least once a week. Ever since they won their award they have become expensive and the food a little complex. Don't get me wrong the food is good but The Earl of Spencer is not the place it used to be.
