We visited The Forge a month ago and it was the most fantastic meal I have had for a long long time. The staff were extremely friendly, making you feel very welcomed and relaxed. With a lot of restaurants, the staff can sometimes make you feel very rushed, but the staff at The Forge were very attentive and calming.
I started off with the French Onion superb which could most definitely rival the best soup I had in a backstreet cafe in Paris a few years back. For my main course, I opted for the steak. There is a great array of European food and it was a tough decision but for me the steak is a benchmark of how good a restaurant's food is. I asked for the steak to be cooked medium rare and it was perfect. There are times when you can tell when you get a good quality of meat, and this steak was the finest. If you are a wine drinker, then you will be delighted with the huge choice of wines available. There must be at least 200 wines on the list from all over the world which complement anything you could choose to eat from the menu. Don't leave this place without trying the dessert. I had the three chocolates and they were stunning. I left The Forge un-rushed, calm and extremely happy with my meal. Will definitely be paying them another visit in the very near future.

I visited with a friend for lunch on Friday and really enjoyed the experience. The staff were friendly, professional and attentive (even when my fussy friend wanted to move tables for a better view). We chose the lunch time a la carte menu, sharing risotto starter, lamb and sea bass mains, and sharing the triple chocolate dessert. The risotto was delicious, we ended up sharing our mains with each other as we couldn't believe how tasty they were and yummed with bliss over the dessert!
The half bottle of wine was not enough...somehow with the great food and service we ended up staying longer than expected!
Will visit again!

The Forge looks marvellous! Went past there just before they were opening and the place looks gorgeous. I've heard quite a bit about it and the food is supposed to be gorgeous. So, fingers crossed as the Forge is only minutes away from where I live!

The Forge looks great and from what I hear, if you like your grape-juice then head down to the Forge as they have a pretty impressive wine list. Apparently there's excellent food too.

The Forge is a great little venue. I must admit I haven't been in yet but the menu and interior look stunning and The Forge couldn't be more welcome - I like places like this.
