The mitre is a good pub- but definately somewhere to go for a big loud social rather than a quiet drink.

I'm not sure how bad The Fulham Mitre was before it was renovated but it is a miserable pub now. I have been all too often since I always get outvoted by my friends who live nearby.



The food at The Fulham Mitre is overpriced for what it is and both the lager and the wine is warm. It is full of people who wear their collars up and are genetically predisposed to shouting. You won't like The Fulham Mitre unless you are called Giles, Rupert, Poppy, Camilla etc or you are Australian. Actually, they used to do a knuckle of lamb which was very tasty indeed but they don't any more.

They have just been awarded tenanted pub of the year for the whole of the UK so they must be doing something right! I love it. It looks great, the food is superb and the service friendly. Best venue in Fulham by a country mile!
