Had a drink in there before our concert at the Albert Hall last night, and couldn't help but notice the amount of food being left on plates, most plates are left piled up behind the bar after they had been cleared off tables and the plates still had half a cold burger and a dozen chips left. Didn't look very appetising. Needless to say we didn't eat there. The staff made no attempt to clear away the food from behind the bar, surely the manager/landlord would notice this and something could be done about the chef ? Drinks were fine though, and the pub has a cosy olde worlde feel.

Six of us stopped for lunch. The husbands went to the bar and ordered all the items at the same time. First came the salmon and pasta. Ten minutes latter, two of the bangers and mash. Another 15 minutes, and a chicken and mushroom pie. Finally after at least another 15, the last two items. Apparently only one coOK, and he/she cant prepare more than one or two things at a time.

After all that, the food was ok, but not great. Don't go with a group if you actually want to eat together.
