Built at the beginning of the 20th century, The Golden Lion pub has luxurious modern decor and serves bar food together with a choice of beers. Entertainment includes darts (local competitions are held), gaming machines, quiz nights on Thursdays and live music on Fridays played by guest bands. In fine weather additional seating is available on the terrace area. If requested The Golden Lion can cater for private functions of up to 100 people.
