After a day out sightseeing and trolling the streets of London we came accross the "Gunmakers" pub. What a breath of fresh air.
We popped in approx 8:35pm and asked if they were still serving food and if children were welcome. We were told food was served until 9pm and we were more than welcome to bring our 12 year old niece in.
The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was brilliant. The staff made us feel extremely welcome.
We were on a coach trip from Skegness, Lincolnshire. We were due to meet our coach at Marble Arch at midnight. We stayed in the Gunmakers until 11:15 and there was no pressure on us to leave, even though we were the only people left in the bar by this time.

A great little pub.

Thank you.

This is a wonderful little pub, - cosy without being cloying. The range of beers on tap is not huge, - but it does have both ales and lagers, so most people will find something they like. It's usually fairly busy, - but somehow we've always managed to get a table. Though I haven't yet eaten the food, I have heard it's pretty good. An extra bonus is the roast potatoes, - they have brought these around in the evening, and they are nigh on impossible to resist! The toilets are pretty clean and the soaps are nice (not too drying on the hands), - overall a laid-back pub to enjoy a nice pint or glass of what you fancy.
