this place has really gone downhill since the new owner took over. they only had half the wine list in stock, the food was a mixture of average and bad- with them having to take back my steak main course twice after cremating the outside of both of them and then saying thats how they usually come out!!! the staff were eating their dinners behind the bar all night with their backs to the pub so you could not get their attention from the dining area. probably wont be going back to what used to be one of our favourite places to eat.

The Harwood Arms on Tuesday night is always a good night out. The place is packed so make sure you book ahead for a table.

Unfortunately the food varies from average to good. For those who like to set up tabs - don’t expect any assistance or concern from the owner when your card goes missing from behind the Harwood Arms bar!

The food was amazing at The Harwood Arms. I recommend the cooked tuna steaks. It's also a great venue for a custom breakfast on saturday morning and the paper. Plus the staff at The Harwood Arms are fun and a really nice time waa had by all.
