Went to The Hideaway for the first time Thursday night after just moving to the neighborhood, it's a great place! The pizzas are fantastic and even if there was a slight misunderstanding with our order the super-friendly waitress was quick to sort it out, making everyone happy again:) The cocktails are great as well, try the bramble! Cool bar-staff!
Will def be back!
Really rate The Hideaway - loving the yummy pizzas and cocktails, hanging out in the garden and dancing in the basement!
Went to The Hideaway recently as had heard good things about their pizzas which turned out to be true - really good food in a tucked away little venue. As the pizzas were such a bargain I didn't feel bad about tucking into a few cheeky cocktails, before we went out into the garden to chill for the rest of the evening.
I went to The Hideaway on Monday evening.I've never been there before and I was excited to see this bar/kitchen for the first time.I'm afraid the staff who I was privileged to meet that day did't share my enthusiasm. They looked bored and I got a lousy service. The pizza I had was tasty but I could hardly see any artichoke on a pizza with artichoke.
My cocktail was nice, but too expensive for what I got.
I woudn't recommend this place to people who like good service from welcoming staff and want to pay for actualy what they see on the menu.
Ewelina.
The Hideaway is one of my favourite places to go out locally - there's a really good range of live music nights, my favourites are the jazz nights which really suit the intimate basement vibe. Have sampled quite a few of their pizzas and still not bored of them yet, they're delicious! There's a great beer garden out the back which is perfect now the weather's getting better. Will be making the most of the half price food deal they're running in April - bargain!
The atmosphere at the Hideaway was so relaxed and inviting. The staff were friendly and it had a fab vibe. The food was delicious - the best pizza I think I have ever eaten. I have never been to a bar in north London before, but I will definitely be returning to this one!
We had a really great night at the Hideaway. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the pizzas were delicious and there was a really nice atmosphere. Can't wait to go back now it's sunny and try out the famous Hideaway terrace.
The Hideaway is a lovely little venue and I can't wait to get back there for their jazz nights. Does anybody know if they are as good as everyone says? Even if they're not, The Hideaway is still a really nice bar.
Hideaway with a jazz night if you can as this is how it should be done. Nice atmosphere, good music and some quality beers meant that a night at Hideaway was a real treat.
